Group Information
Self-Guided Tour
Suggested Admission
- $3 adults/seniors
- $2 children 12 and under/students
No reservations are needed for self guided visits. Visitation is on a first come, first serve basis. There may be a slight waiting period during the peak season. Donations will be collected upon arrival.
Group leaders and tour guides are required to check in with the admissions staff to provide accurate attendance numbers before entering the house. The group will then be broken down into 10 to 15 people at a time. Expect your tour to take about 20 minutes.
School Groups
There must be one teacher/chaperone per every 10 students. To enhance the learning experience, we recommend the audio tour for students ages six and older. Teachers may also make use of our spacious courtyard for students who have brought a bag lunch. Lunch is available on-site most of the year. A hot dog, potato chips and drink may be purchased in advance for $5. Please call (215) 686-1252 to make arrangements.
Concessions
Lunch and snacks are now available for purchase in our courtyard from Thursday through Sunday, daily beginning May 1. Have your group plan to stay and eat with us while enjoying our free entertainment.
Audio Guide Group Tour Information
Audio Guides
- $5 per person
- Main tour runs approximately 25 minutes
- Receptive Operator rates are available. Please contact Jessica Whiteman at 215-686-1254 or email jessica@betsyrosshouse.org
Reservations for the audio tour are needed for groups larger than 25 people, and should be made two weeks in advance. Reservations will only be held for 20 minutes after the scheduled time of the tour.
Large groups will be broken down into smaller groups of 10 to 15. Tours will begin with 5-minute intervals in between each group. The delay insures that each group completes the tour about the same time and to prevent overflow into the house.
(Splitters are not available for audio guides due to safety regulations.)
